MELLOTT — Friends have received word of the death of Mrs. Carrie J. House. Mrs. House, 81, was the widow of Rev. Arthur E. House, a former minister of the Mellott Christian Church, now the Mellott United Church of Christ. Rev. House and family were residents of Mellott from 1923 to 1925 while he was serving the church as pastor. Mrs. House was a resident of Carmel at the time of her death. She is survived by a son, Harvey H. House of Carmel; two daughters, Mrs. Suzie Cooper of Lakeland, Fla., and Mrs. Druzy Darr of Belen, N.M.; three sisters; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.  --typed by Walt W
